Synastry

Synastry is the technique of comparing two charts to describe the dynamic between two people — looking at aspects between both people's planets and at how their houses overlap.

It's the most commonly used method in relationship astrology, alongside the composite chart. Unlike the composite, which blends both charts into one "shared" chart, synastry keeps both charts separate and looks at how they affect each other.
