Sun sign

Your sun sign is the zodiac sign the Sun occupied at the moment you were born — it is the basis of popular daily horoscopes.

It describes the core of identity, will, and how a person expresses themselves outwardly. It's the best-known chart element because it only takes a birth date to work out — no time or place needed.

A sun sign is still only one piece of the chart, though; the fuller picture of a personality also includes the moon sign, the ascendant, and where the other planets fall.
