Reversed card

A reversed card is one that appears upside down in a spread.

Many tarot readers interpret it as a blocked, weakened, or inward-facing version of that card's upright meaning. Some readers skip reversals altogether, treating every card as upright and basing interpretation purely on its position and neighbors in the spread.
