Planetary station
A planetary station is the moment a planet, seen from Earth, appears to stop in the sky before changing direction — from direct to retrograde (a retrograde station) or back again (a direct station).
Around a station a planet moves very slowly, which astrologers read as a period of heightened intensity for that planet's themes — both when it enters retrograde and when it resumes direct motion.
