Mercury

In astrology Mercury symbolizes communication, thinking, and how information gets processed — speech, writing, learning, negotiation.

It rules Gemini and Virgo, and is exalted in Virgo. Its chart placement describes a person's thinking and communication style, and its periodic retrograde is one of the most talked-about phenomena in popular astrology.
