III. The Empress

The Empress (III) symbolizes abundance, fertility (literal and creative), and nature's nurturing, sensual energy.

In a reading it often points to a period of growth, abundance, and creative fertility — a project, a relationship, or literally a pregnancy developing at its own right pace. Reversed, it's often read as self-neglect, creative block, or smothering over-nurturing.
