Synastry

Interaspect

An interaspect is an aspect formed by one person's planet with the other person's planet — the basic unit of analysis in synastry.

One person's Sun conjunct the other's Venus, for instance, tends to feel like a strong, natural pull, while a Mars-Saturn square between two charts can point to recurring tension around action and control.
