Ingress
An ingress is the moment a planet enters a new zodiac sign — the Sun's ingress into Aries, for example, marks the start of the astrological year (the spring equinox).
Fast-planet ingresses happen often and mostly carry short-term significance, while ingresses of slow planets (Jupiter or Saturn moving into a new sign) tend to be treated as important turning points that open a new, years-long thematic chapter.
