Imum Coeli

Also known as: IC

The Imum Coeli (IC) is the lowest point of the chart, directly opposite the MC, marking the start of the 4th House — the house of roots, family and private inner life.

It describes what feels most private and foundational to a person — home, family, sense of belonging, the inner base they build the rest of life on, including the public goals described by the MC.
