Descendant

The descendant is the chart point exactly opposite the ascendant, marking the start of the 7th House — the house of partnerships and open alliances.

Where the ascendant describes how a person presents themselves, the descendant describes what they look for in others — qualities they project onto partners and close allies, sometimes ones that are harder for them to see in themselves.
