Composite chart

A composite chart is a relationship-astrology technique that creates one, "third" chart from the mathematical midpoints between two people's planetary positions.

Unlike synastry, which compares two separate charts, a composite treats the relationship as its own "entity" with its own Sun, Moon, ascendant and houses — describing not so much how two people affect each other, but what the relationship is in itself.
