Birthday number

A birthday number is derived solely from the day of the month a person was born, reduced to a single digit (with the master numbers 11 and 22 kept unreduced).

It's a secondary, more specific indicator than the life path number, which factors in the whole birth date — the birthday number is treated as an extra, refining trait rather than a separate, primary personality indicator.
