Question 1

How is Vedic astrology different from Western astrology?

Accepted Answer

It uses the sidereal zodiac, puts the Moon and the nakshatras at the centre and describes time through the dasha system. In AstroSensus it is a separate mode with its own vocabulary and readings.

Question 2

Can I go back to Western astrology?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can change the system at any time in your account settings; calculations for the two systems are kept separately.

Question 3

Will the reading tell me when something specific will happen?

Accepted Answer

No. Dashas describe the background and themes of a period, not specific events. The reading is for reflection, not fortune-telling.

Question 4

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Start with 14 days of the Family plan — no card required. This feature is also available on the free plan, within its limits.
