Pluto turns direct
Friday, 16 October 2026 · exactly at 03:00 · UTC
A planet changes direction in the sky — a time to slow down and look at something again.
On October 16, 2026, Pluto ends its retrograde phase and returns to direct motion.
What it means
In astrology, “direct motion” means that Pluto ceases to be perceived from Earth as moving backward. Pluto is traditionally associated with deep transformations, intensity, control, and what is hidden. You may treat such a moment as a symbolic transition from inner review to gradually putting the changes you have noticed into practice. It is worth paying attention to what, after a period of reflection, requires consistent action, without assuming that events must unfold in a particular way.
